Jude 1:16-1:19

Justice Justified

We can all see examples of bad behavior eventually catching up with us, or someone around us. In verses sixteen through nineteen of Jude?s epistle, Jude reminds us of the kind of activity that God really detests, and the consequences of persisting in that bad behavior. It?s a timely wake-up call for us as well.

  1. These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.
  2. But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
  3. How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
  4. These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
