Genesis 1:3-1:5

Day One: Let There Be Light

This passage begins with the creation of light when God spoke it into existence. Paganism also has a view of these beginnings and puts a cloak of science around it. In this segment, Pastor Lloyd discusses those pagan mentalities and theories, the miracle of light, the big bang, revisions in science while the Bible has remained unchanged for thousands of years, God's character reflected in His words and the importance of our own words, and something he calls, "scientism," as we work our way through Genesis.

  1. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
  2. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
  3. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
