Humilty and Submission

Even a quick glance at television today will tell you that this world has a problem with humility. The catch phrase of the year 2016 has got to be "It?s all about ME!" Welcome to Bridging the Gap with Pastor Lloyd Pulley. It's good to have you with us as Pastor Lloyd continues his study of First Peter. Peter has some good words to say about the need for a humble heart in chapter five, verses five through seven.

Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
