Romans 6:21-6:23

What Fruit!

On September 22, 1862, President Abraham Lincoln issued the Emancipation proclamation, which freed all slaves as of the following New year. The 614 words in that proclamation are revered by all historians, but is there ever a situation where it would be beneficial to be considered a slave? Today on Bridging the Gap, Pastor Lloyd Pulley will show us that there is such a situation - when we become slaves to righteousness through Jesus Christ!

  1. What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.
  2. But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
  3. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
