Romans 8:33-8:34

Accused But Not Condemned

It's been well said that If our greatest need had been information, God would have sent us an educator; If our greatest need had been technology, God would have sent us a scientist; If our greatest need had been money, God would have sent us an economist; If our greatest need had been pleasure, God would have sent us an entertainer; But our greatest need was forgiveness, so God sent us a Savior - Jesus Christ. The truth we will consider today, in Romans chapter eight, is that we are accused, but not condemned.

  1. Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.
  2. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
